OUR LEGACY

The fifth generation of winegrowers.

Walking through “El Cotarro” in Moradillo, one gets an idea of what the history of the vineyard and wine is like in us. We have wineries and a century-old winepress from our ancestors that we are recovering.

Reviewing our family history, we have brought to light documentation about the old spirits factory of our great-grandfather Juan Camarero or the project of another great-grandfather, Miguel Arroyo, who died without being able to open the new winery due to Phylloxera.

Javier Camarero

THE BEGINNING

The idea of what is now Páramo de Corcos came from our father, Javier Camarero, a visionary within the Ribera del Duero, who made the first vineyard plantations in the 80s, when La Ribera was little more than a project.

Páramo de Corcos has been shaped and adapted over time to be a small project where we want to express our essence, what we do and the fruit of the work we do in our Páramo de Corcos vineyard.

THE PRESENT AND THE FUTURE

This is a 100% family project; the first steps were taken by Javier Camarero together with Lourdes Bajo. Javier left us soon but the next generation we continue working to develop this whole dream.

Encarna is in charge of the administrative and accounting part.

Francisco Javier, Quico, is the winery manager.

In the vineyard it is José María who has the responsibility.

Lourdes uniting, always attentive and supporting.

Behind comes a new generation that is already part of the project.
